RCMP in Pelican Narrows say a woman is charged with bootlegging.
Police were patrolling a check stop at the Opawikoscikcan Narrows along highway 135 on November 23, after receiving information that bootleggers were transporting liquor into the dry community.
A 34-year-old woman is charged.
Police say they seized a large quantity of alcohol from a vehicle at a check stop.
