RCMP say five people were arrested following a shooting incident in Montreal Lake Thursday morning.
Police responded to reports of firearms being discharged at approximately 9 AM, but when officers arrived, at a home believed to be where the shooting occurred the suspects had already fled.
Police located a vehicle a short time later, where five people were apprehended without incident.
Mounties say the suspects were known to each other and that there were no injuries.
As a precaution, the local daycare, school and band office were all temporarily placed in lock-down.
The lock-down has since been lifted.
Officers from the Prince Albert, Sturgeon Lake and Waskesiu, detachments assisted in the investigation.
