RCMP say one person is dead and four others are injured following a single vehicle crash just south of La Ronge early Wednesday morning.
Police say the collision occurred approximately two kilometers south of town on Highway 2 at around 3:30 AM.
Police say a northbound Toyota Tundra left the roadway and entered the west ditch. The vehicle then hit an approach.
One adult female was declared deceased at the scene. The driver and three other occupants, all adults were taken to the hospital with undetermined injuries.
The name of the deceased is not being released. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the fatality.
A RCMP collision re-constructionist is currently on scene assisting with the investigation.
