Two games took place on Thursday in the Northern Saskatchewan Football League.

The Sandy Bay T-Wolves downed the Pinehouse Lakers 38-32 in a close battle. With the win, Sandy Bay improves to 2-1 on the season, while Pinehouse slipped to 2-1.

Elsewhere, the Cumberland House Islanders are now 3-0 after dumping the Creighton Kodiaks 16-12 in a low-scoring affair. With the setback, the Kodiaks are now 1-2 on the campaign.

In nine-aside high school football action today, the La Ronge Churchill Chargers are home to Nipawin. The Chargers are still looking for their first win of the season following two close losses to Melfort and Tisdale respectively. Today’s game is slated to get underway at 4 p.m.
