An arrest warrant has been issued for a Clearwater River Dene Nation man who allegedly pointed a firearm at someone on Thursday.
La Loche RCMP say police responded to a complaint of a firearm being pointed at a person late in the afternoon.
Mounties say they saw the suspect driving a vehicle but he apparently fled from police.
Twenty-nine-year-old Rudy Waylan Conroy Park is facing 12 charges – including pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
The public is being told not to approach the suspect but instead notify police.
Anyone with information about this incident or his whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
