A 20-year-old man from Onion Lake Cree Nation is scheduled to appear in court today after a weekend death.
RCMP where called to a home on the reserve Saturday morning about a stabbing and found an injured 28-year-old man.
Police say the victim, Tyson Blair Crosschild was taken to hospital but died of his injuries.
The suspect, Dakota Whitstone was later arrested and is being held in custody.
He faces three charges including second-degree murder.
The investigation continues involving the Major Crime Unit and the Coroner.
