Battlefords RCMP are investigating a robbery involving bear spray Tuesday night.

Police say two males approached a parked vehicle around 10:30 p.m. in the area of 17th Avenue and 96th Street in North Battleford.

They proceeded to threaten a male occupant of the vehicle with a can of bear spray before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash in a bag.

The victim was unharmed in the incident.

One of the suspects is described as First Nations, 6’ tall, about 18-21 years old, with a slim build and thin moustache.

Both men were wearing black, flat-brimmed ball caps.
