The owner of a remote angling outfitter business at Jug Bay on Lake Athabasca is charged with bootlegging.
Fond Du Lac RCMP, with the help of detachments in Prince Albert and Stony Rapids executed a search warrant on the business Monday where an undisclosed amount of liquor including spirits, wine, and beer was seized.
Mounties say the seizure comes after investigating several complaints against the business including an assault, theft of a boat, and a boating accident.
Liquor is alleged to be a factor in all of the reported incidents.
The name of the individual charged is not being released.
