A 37-year-old man is dead following a collision involving a quad and a horse on the Kawacatoose First Nation.
RCMP say the incident took place 10 kilometres northwest of Punnichy. It was reported Monday evening shortly after 10:30 p.m.
Investigators say a westbound ATV hit the horse and the driver from Kawacatoose was pronounced dead at the scene.
The horse was also injured and had to be euthanized by police at the scene.
The investigation into this collision is still ongoing at this time with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Coroner.
