A man from the Little Red River reserve facing a number of child pornography charges was in court Thursday morning.
Twenty-one-year-old Drake Christian Lacerte is charged with making child pornography, making available child pornography and possession of child pornography.
He made a show cause hearing appearance in Prince Albert provincial court.
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at Little Red on Tuesday, where a cell phone was seized.
A laptop was also later seized from another location.
The ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service and Prince Albert Police Service.
Lacerte is due back in court for plea and election at 10 a.m. on Aug. 2.
He remains in custody.
