A man from Pakwaw Lake has claimed a big prize.
In a release, Saskatchewan Lotteries says Carlton Bear won $1 million on the June 8 Lotto Max draw.
He purchased the ticket in Regina and checked his ticket a couple of days after the draw.
“I didn’t believe it the first time I checked,” he said. “I scanned it again, and I still couldn’t believe it.”
Bear says he would like to take his family to see K-Days Exhibition in Edmonton and maybe a Montreal Canadiens game.
Saskatchewan Lotteries is the fundraiser for more than 12,000 sport, culture, recreation and community groups.
