After going 3-0-1 through the round-robin, the Saskatchewan female team lost 5-3 in a semi-final game today to Ontario South at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships in Nova Scotia.

Kyra Ledoux scored twice for Saskatchewan, while Anna-Leise King also tallied. Scout Anderson made 34 saves in the loss.

Saskatchewan still has a shot at gold though. The Saskatchewan male team will meet Ontario South, with a spot in the gold medal game on the line.

Saskatchewan was 4-0 in the round-robin and outscored the opposition 32-4.

Tonight’s semi-final between Saskatchewan and Ontario South will get underway at 5:30 p.m.
