The RCMP is releasing details about a tragic death near Wollaston Lake this past weekend.

Billy Dzeylion, 33, was part of a fishing tournament near the northern community.

RCMP say Dzeylion was last seen on Friday heading out on his snowmobile. He was reported missing on Sunday after his friends believe he may have gotten lost.

A few members of the community went searching for him and found Dzeylion’s body about 15 kilometres south of Wollaston Lake.

He was also about one kilometre away from his snowmobile, which authorities believe may have broken down.

RCMP say he most likely died of exposure. His death is not considered suspicious.
