The La Ronge man charged in the death of 58-year-old Henry Natomagan appeared in court via video Wednesday morning.
Nikko Ross, 29, is charged with manslaughter in connection to the death.
Ross was expected to enter a plea this morning, however, the matter was adjourned until later this month.
Ross is charged in relation to an incident that happened on January 23 when officers responded to an altercation in the community.
Natomagan was located with life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital, where he later passed away.
Ross will be back in court on February 26.
