RCMP say a 32-year-old woman is unaccounted for following a house fire on the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation yesterday.
RCMP say the Loon Lake Fire Department was already on the scene when Mounties arrived at about 3 a.m. Sunday.
According to police, a number of people had managed to escape the house and were treated for what were described as minor injuries.
However, they told police that a woman was unaccounted for.
So far, she has not been found.
RCMP say the examination and investigation of the scene will be completed once the fire is fully extinguished. RCMP Forensic Identification Services is on site.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
