A 34-year-old woman from Onion Lake Cree Nation has been charged after a stabbing incident that happened the week before Christmas.
On December 21, Meadow Lake RCMP were called to the Waterhen Lake First Nation about a 26-year-old man suffering from a stab wound.
The man was taken away by ambulance and later airlifted to Saskatoon in serious condition.
Investigators say the suspect fled the scene, but was later located.
She has been charged with aggravated assault and is set to appear in Meadow Lake provincial court next Monday.
