La Ronge RCMP are investigating the weekend death of a 22-year-old man.
A snowmobile crash at Sanderson Point was reported shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
Police say the driver of the snowmobile, a 22-year-old man from the Lac La Ronge Indian Band, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 24-year-old male passenger was transported to hospital with what were described as minor injuries.
Investigators say both were wearing protective equipment at the time.
The victim’s name has not been released.
