It’s not known if any charges will be laid after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle north of Brabant Lake.
The incident, two kilometres north of the community, was reported shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Sunday.
RCMP say a 62-year-old man from Southend was struck on Highway 102 and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured and stayed at the scene for police to arrive.
An RCMP collision reconstruction investigator was brought to the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released.
