On April 3, Happy Charles was last seen outside the Prince Albert Collegiate Institute.

After many searches by the community, the 43-year-old from La Ronge is still missing. She had reportedly come down from La Ronge to visit her boyfriend and do some banking in Prince Albert.

A vigil is being organized by her family members in an effort to keep Happy in the minds of the community and to spread awareness of disappearances.

“What we’re trying to do is raise awareness of our daughter’s absence. Hopefully, someone will bring something up so we can find her and bring her home,” said her father, Carson Poitras.

“Our vigil is not just for our daughter, but for every family. What we are unfortunately going through could happen to anybody, it doesn’t matter what walk of life you’re from.”

The vigil will take place at 6:00 p.m. on the urban reserve in La Ronge.

Anyone with info on the location of Happy is asked to contact RCMP.
