The President and CEO of File Hills Developments, Thomas Benjoe, is among five recipients to be presented with an Alumni Crowning Achievement Award at the University of Regina.

Benjoe will receive the Outstanding Young Alumni Award at a ceremony tonight in Regina. As CEO of FHQ Developments, he is in charge of a multimillion-dollar corporation that creates jobs and contributes to the economic development of the bands in the tribal council.

He was born and raised on the Muscowpetung First Nation, and received his education at the First Nations University of Canada and the University of Regina.

The lifetime achievement award will be presented to Guy Vanderhaeghe, who is best known for his award-winning books.
