A Meadow Lake woman is facing gun and drug related charges following a routine traffic stop this week near Beauval.
RCMP say they pulled over 49 year-old Laura Bouvier near the northern community on Tuesday where she was arrested for outstanding warrants.
Following the arrest police searched her vehicle and found a handgun, 143 grams of cocaine and 63 grams of marijuana.
Bouvier now faces several charges including trafficking and unauthorized possession of a fire-arm.
She made a court appearance in Beauval on Wednesday on the charges.
She will be on remand until her next appearance on November 7 where she is set to appear via video.
RCMP say the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
