RCMP Major Crimes are investigating a death in Reindeer Lake this past weekend as a homicide.
On September 1, 2017 Southend RCMP received a call about an unresponsive male in the northern community.
RCMP say the 33 year-old man from Southend was pronounced dead at the scene and a sudden death investigation began with the help of Major Crimes and the Office of the Chief Coroner.
Investigators determined the death was a homicide after they conducted an autopsy.
Mounties say the investigation is ongoing and further information will be released at a later time.
