Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation is asking for clothing donations for those still evacuated because of wildfires.

Over 700 people remain evacuated from Pelican Narrows and area because of smoke. Many of the evacuees were able to return home last week, however, some remain evacuated because of health risks, pregnancy and age.

PBCN’s Emergency Operations Centre says they are seeking warm sweaters and jackets for all ages from babies to elders. Donations can be dropped off at PAGC’s Urban Services, which is located at 1401 Central Ave. in Prince Albert.

They ask that donations be dropped off by Wednesday.
