La Ronge Provincial Court
A guilty plea has been entered in relation to the April death of La Ronge business owner Simon Grant.
Austin Bird, 18, entered a guilty plea to manslaughter in La Ronge Provincial Court today. The Crown is seeking an eight-year sentence, while the defence is looking for five years.
The case has been adjourned until October 12 in La Ronge.
Meantime, three other people are facing charges in connection to the death of Grant, but their matters are still winding through the courts.
