An update from Saskatchewan Highways on road restrictions in northeast Saskatchewan:

Highway 106 (also known at the Hanson Lake Road) and Highway 135 (with access to Pelican Narrows and Sandy Bay) are now open to general traffic.  This includes access to Jan Lake, Tyrell Lake and Pawistik Lake.

Please be advised that conditions may be smoky and there may be fire in proximity to the roads.  You are asked to drive with caution as there will be crews and equipment working in the area.

Again, Highway 106 (the Hanson Lake Road) and Highway 135 (the access highway to Pelican Narrows and Sandy Bay) have been opened to general traffic as of 7 pm this evening (Thursday, September 14).
