Numerous men are facing assault and forcible confinement charges following an incident in Meadow Lake last night.
RCMP say four men forced their way into a home in the community where they assaulted three men inside.
A firearm was allegedly used to as a striking weapon, but was never discharged. The victims were all transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say one of the suspects was arrested at the scene while another was arrested a short time later.
27 year-old Michael Eugene Poitras and 36 year-old Grant Stuart Poitras of Meadow Lake have been charged with numerous offences including pointing a firearm, forcible confinement and assault with a weapon. They will make their first court appearance on Monday.
RCMP have administered arrest warrants for 27 year-old Waylon Sylvestre and 25 year-old John Iron for numerous offences related to the home invasion.
Police believe the suspects and victims were known to each other and say this was not a random act.
