RCMP are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a Buffalo Narrows man accused of abducting, extorting and threatening members of his immediate family.
Twenty-four-year-old Lyle Jacques Chartier is also facing vehicle theft and impaired driving charges in connection to an incident this past Sunday that RCMP say involved his girlfriend and children.
Mounties say his girlfriend and children have all been located safe, but Chartier is still at large.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
