It was a fake gun, but it resulted in real charges against a 19-year-old man.
Meadow Lake RCMP were called out to a report of a man carrying a handgun walking down 3rd Avenue at about 8:00 pm last night.
The suspect, 19-year-old Keegan Partridge, was arrested and a very realistic BB gun pistol was located a short distance away.
He is facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Partridge will appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court today to face the charges.
