Onion Lake RCMP officers are investigating a two-vehicle collision which took the life of one person.
The crash involving a car and van happened around 1:30 p.m. on Monday on Highway 17, about three kilometers south of Onion Lake.
RCMP say the 52-year-old female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
One adult female and two female youth passengers in the car were transported to hospital.
The lone adult male driver of the van was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist was brought in to assist with the investigation.
