One of the oldest buildings in the province has burned to the ground.
On July 1, Cumberland House RCMP were alerted to a fire at the Parish Hall, which was reportedly built in 1892.
Despite the efforts of fire crews, the blaze could not be contained and the building was a total loss. Crews did manage to prevent the flames from spreading to other buildings.
No injuries were reported, but the cause of the fire is under investigation.
