There are reports of water over the road on Highway 102 north of La Ronge near McLennan Lake.
An eyewitness said the road was beginning to wash out late Monday afternoon and there was bare rock exposed, but the road was still passable at Kilometre 138.
Steve Shaheen with Saskatchewan Highways and Infrastructure said the ministry was aware of the situation and as of 5 p.m. there were no road restrictions.
He said there are plans to install a culvert at that location.
Highway 102 is the only highway heading north that connects La Ronge with the communities of Brabant Lake and Southend.
