An 18-year-old man was arrested in Air Ronge on Thursday morning in relation to the investigation into Simon Grant’s death.

Mathew Nagy-Charles is charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, with a court appearance scheduled for Friday morning in La Ronge.

The details on his involvement have not been revealed.

Grant was fatally wounded after hours at his business, Louisiana’s Bar-B-Que, around 11 p.m. on April 15.

Three others face charges of second-degree murder and armed robbery. They are: 18-year-old Austin Bird, a 17-year old male and a 14-year-old male who cannot be named due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act. They are due back in court in early June.

*EDITOR’S NOTE: A previous version of this story said Nagy-Charles was arrested Wednesday morning, but RCMP now say he was, in fact, arrested Thursday morning.
