Kamsack RCMP have charged a 19-year-old man from the Cote First Nation in relation to an incident on May 10 at the Chief Gabriel School in that community.
Lloyd Norman Straightnose is facing one count of assault with a weapon and one count of uttering threats.
The charges come after an investigation by RCMP, where a man was seen brandishing a knife at the school and was located on the roof.
He was later taken into custody without incident.
Straightnose was released on conditions and will appear in Kamsack court on July 18.
