Prince Albert Police have two suspects in custody in relation to the city’s first homicide of the year.

Officers were called to a home in the city’s midtown area at 1:22 Wednesday morning to assist Parkland Ambulance with a non-responsive 34-year-old male who succumbed to his injuries and was announced dead on the scene.

Police were on scene throughout the morning, with caution tape sectioning off the home in which the man died.

Police did not say if the two suspects were known to the victim and have not announced any charges in the case.
