For the second straight year, the Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race is experiencing issues due to a lack of snow.
The start location for the race is now taking place at Elk Ridge Resort later today.
With the changes to the start location, the 12-dog race is now 270 miles, while the 8-dog race is now 135 miles.
The race is slated to begin at 5:00 pm today.
