Charges of first-degree murder and aggravated assault have been laid following the death of a man on the Red Earth First Nation.
On Saturday afternoon, police were called to a home on the reserve, where they found an injured person.
RCMP say 29-year-old Ramsey Whitehead was pronounced dead at the scene. A short time later, 25-year-old Davis Whitehead was arrested.
He has been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault. The suspect is scheduled to appear in Melfort court on Tuesday.
An autopsy is scheduled to take place today in Saskatoon.
