The RCMP Underwater Recovery Team has been dispatched to Ile-a-la-Crosse after reports that a vehicle may have gone through the ice.
Police were contacted about the situation late yesterday morning.
Investigators say a large hole was found in the ice on the Canoe River near kilometre 130 on Highway 155.
So far, no vehicle has been located and the investigation continues.
Police say there could be slight delays for motorists in that area.
