The person charged with shooting and killing a 22-year-old man from Red Pheasant First Nation was in court today.

Gerald Stanley is facing two counts of unsafe storage of a firearm.

Stanley is out on bail after pleading not guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Colten Boushie.

The shooting happened in August in a farmyard in the RM of Glendale.

Stanley appeared this morning in North Battleford Provincial Court.

His next appearance is for a preliminary hearing, beginning April 3rd in North Battleford.
