A man from the Sturgeon Lake First Nation is accused of making child porn and sexual assault on the Sturgeon Lake and James Smith First Nations.
It follows an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
Twenty-two-year-old George Edward Sanderson has been charged with making child pornography, distributing child pornography and two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference.
Sanderson was taken into custody and made his first court appearance today in Prince Albert.
He remains in custody and will be back in court Monday morning.
