*UPDATE – RCMP say Michael Montgrand was apprehended at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday night.
Mounties say a male prisoner escaped custody on Wednesday while at a court appearance in Turnor Lake.
Michael Joseph Montgrand, 26, is now at large after running into a wooded area of Turnor Lake around 11 a.m. He is a resident of the community, and considered to be dangerous.
The RCMP describe him as Aboriginal, 5’ 10”, and weighing approximately 200 to 220 pounds.
Montgrand was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey pants and black shoes.
