A couple who were found dead in a Delisle home on the weekend had family ties in the Patuanak and Saskatoon area.

The man and woman were both 26 years old, and RCMP were alerted to their deaths with a phone call around 7:30 on Saturday evening after their bodies were found.

The woman had two “very beautiful kids,” said a cousin of the woman, who asked MBC not to use his name.

“I’m still in shock to wake up to bad news a family member has passed away, to top it off she was young and still had a lot to live for,” the cousin said.

Other family members have taken to social media to express their heartbreak and send their condolences to the woman’s parents, siblings, and children.

The cause of death has yet to be determined, however possible carbon monoxide issues have been mentioned.

RCMP investigators say they are considered sudden deaths, although police are not looking for suspects.

No other details about the deaths have been released but autopsies will be conducted this week.

The investigation continues.
