A Green Lake man turned himself into police three days after a weekend standoff that blocked roads and brought in extra reinforcements into the north-west Saskatchewan community.

Corey O’Neil Bouvier, 27, is now in custody. He’s the last of three suspects to be charged after reports of a disturbance in Green Lake around 5 a.m. on Saturday. Residents say in the following hours, up to several dozen police and police dogs flooded into the community, and shots were fired during the incident.

One of the three people who were allegedly in the home that police surrounded was arrested but not charged.

Bouvier and two others – Aaron Roy and Austin Lafond – face similar charges, which include assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm, careless uses of a firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Lafond, 20, and Roy, 22, were in court earlier this week and have their next appearance in Meadow Lake at the end of the month.

Bouvier will be in Meadow Lake court on Thursday.
