A five-year-old boy has died following a suspected hit and run in Big River on Wednesday night.
RCMP say the child was riding his bike when he was struck by a vehicle shortly after 9:00 pm.
The boy was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Mounties say the vehicle did not stop at the scene, but was later located by the RCMP.
A man and woman have been taken into custody, however, no charges have been laid at this time.
RCMP continues to investigate the incident.
