An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday in Saskatoon following the death of a 17-year-old girl on the Big Island Lake Cree Nation.
Spiritwood RCMP and emergency responders were called to a home in the community on Friday morning about someone in medical distress.
Attempts to save her failed and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have released no other details, but say the death is suspicious.
