RCMP say a youth who escaped from custody last week when he was attending a funeral at Red Pheasant First Nation is back in custody.
Justice officials went to extraordinary lengths to release information about him in an effort to protect the public.
Because of his violent past, the youth was believed to be a risk to the community.
The youth was serving time at the North Battleford youth facility.
RCMP say he was arrested overnight, but is back in custody, and now faces more charges.
