Regional fire bans have been mounting for weeks in northern Saskatchewan, the wildfire risk is leading to further restrictions by the provincial government.
Northern Municipal Services is citing the extreme wildfire hazards for banning all burning or open pit fires in northern Saskatchewan.
This includes La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows, Green Lake, Cumberland House and all areas north.
