The Civil Air Search & Rescue Association and the local Canadian Rangers Patrol unit were called out yesterday to help in the search for some missing boaters.
Three people were in the boat which had engine trouble while on Lac La Ronge.
RCMP say members of the Rangers were able to locate the stranded boaters and assist them to shore shortly after 2 p.m.
There were no injuries reported.
Local RCMP members and other volunteers were also involved in the search effort.
