RCMP say a suspect wanted after a weekend assault at the Red Earth First Nation has been arrested.
Police say 23-year-old Caleb Head was taken into custody last night.
Early Sunday morning, officers were called to a home on the reserve.
They found an injured woman who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators then issued an arrest warrant for Head.
He faces several charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault, and is scheduled to appear in Nipawin Provincial Court on Wednesday.
