The last remaining suspect in a January homicide in Prince Albert has been taken into custody.
Police say 23-year-old Preston Spencer Dean Bird was arrested on Friday after officers went to a residence in the city’s Midtown area.
Bird is facing a charge of second-degree murder and is making his first court appearance today.
Twenty-three-year-old Jonathon Lee Cowan was found dead from an apparent shooting in a local apartment on January 9.
Twenty-year-old Reno Roy Keenatch and 25-year-old Tyler Thomas Pechawis were previously arrested and charged with second-degree murder in Cowan’s slaying.
