A Prince Albert teen accused of shooting another boy in the face in late December will go to trial.

The 17-year-old boy entered a not guilty plea to attempted murder on Wednesday.

He was arrested soon after the 15-year-old victim was rushed to hospital on December 29.

Police say the accused had a gun in his possession at that time.

He’s been out on bail for nearly a month, and under conditions to live with his girlfriend’s mother.

The trial will take place in late June.
